Motion in the Still

For my Advertising 2 class we were tasked with advertising a random genre of films that everyone picked from a bag. Some of the options were of specific directors that had a unique styles, like Akira Kurosawa, who I had got for the project. The things that made Kurosawa's films so unique were the motion in every shot and the highly dramatic actions the characters would have. I thought to focus on these points, letting the highly expressive characters have a lot of focus while using negative space to create a kind of motion throughout the pieces.
